eHarmony is seeking an Account Manager to sell display advertising across our growing family of web properties, including eharmony.com, eHarmony Advice (www.advice.eharmony.com), Project Wedding (www.projectwedding.com), Weddingbee (www.theweddingbee.com), and Just Mommies (www.justmommies.com).   eHarmony Media sites help people at key life stages, such as falling in love, planning a family and raising children.  Powered by great branding, world-class marketing, international expansion and targeting capabilities, eHarmony Media has 20 million registered users, over 400 million page views per month, and more than 5 million unique visitors.

 

eHarmony is based in Pasadena, California. We are open to candidates from any major metropolitan area in the country, but we have a preference for someone in California, New York City (where we have a sales office) or Chicago. 



Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

  • Prospect and build trusted relationships with key accounts.
  • Create compelling sales proposals.
  • Generate repeat business through tight account management and optimization.
  • Help strategize product and positioning.


Qualifications:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Proven success with a 3+ year track record in online advertising sales
  • Active, strong relationships among advertisers that will translate into immediate business
  • Experience in endemic categories, including Weddings, Health & Fitness, Beauty, Retail and Entertainment.
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Excellent presentation skills – both creation and delivery
