Overview:

This cross-functional role on the Corporate Communications team will interface closely with many teams throughout the organization, including Marketing, Customer Care, Publishing and International.  Qualified candidates must be proficient in all aspects of traditional marketing public relations and reputation management, as well as have expertise defining, executing and measuring social media engagement programs.  Experience interfacing directly with customers is a plus.  Some PR agency experience strongly preferred.



Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Coordinate and optimize social media activities across the Corporate Communications, Marketing, Customer Care, Publishing and International teams
  • Increase eHarmony’s presence in social media by facilitating conversations with prospective and current eHarmony customers, success couples and other stakeholders
  • Measure and report on the impact of social media engagement efforts on the business
  • Feed analytic, trend and customer feedback information back into the organization
  • Manage the eHarmony company blog
  • Assist with public relations, reputation management and corporate communications strategy and execution as needed


Qualifications:

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 5 years experience managing social media engagement and traditional marketing public relations programs, preferably with some agency experience
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills (please submit 3-5 writing samples)
  • Demonstrable ability to manage a collaborative, cross-functional initiative and secure buy-in from other teams and upper management
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities at once and work under minimal guidance
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and deliverables
  • Must have great creative energy and ability to generate ideas
  • Passion for, and preferably personal experience with, the eHarmony service
