eHarmony.com is recruiting for a Release Engineer who will be responsible for working with cutting-edge technology to run all custom-built applications and own the production release process.  Be responsible for a high volume, high profile consumer website at a mature, pre-IPO dotcom.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and take ownership of the release process
• Develop continuous build process
• Develop automated release process
• Track all changes to production
• Deploy releases including application and database
• Build integration tools between build, deployment, change and bug systems.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience working on a high-availability website (i.e., 100,000,000+ page views/month)
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to work fast in time-critical situations and make educated real-time decisions under pressure
• Exhibit self-directed, self-motivated orientation with the ability to “get things done”
• Through understanding of the following technologies:

- WebLogic 9.x/10.0  or Websphere (preferred)

- Jetty or TomCat

- RedHat Linux 4/5 or Solaris or AIX

- Apache 2.x, PHP

- F5 BigIP (or other hardware load balancer)

- UNIX shell scripting

- High Availability/Clustering concepts

- Maven, Maven2 and Hudson

• Basic understanding of:

- MySQL

- Oracle

- Java and J2EE programming
